The phrase originated during the American Revolution. It was first used in 1775 by the first group of Continental Marines who were assembled by American politician and general Christopher Gadsden, who put the phrase on a yellow flag accompanied with a rattlesnake. This flag is known today as the Gadsden flag. The rattlesnake on the flag represents a warning to other nations that if they mess with the US, we will be ready to strike. Ever since its inception, this flag has been an iconic American image synonymous with Liberty and Freedom.

This silver bullion round will have a purity of .999 silver; common to most silver bullion products and will have a weight of 2 troy ounces.
