Help Center | SD Bullion FAQ & Customer Support

Q: How long does it take SD Bullion to process an order before it ships?

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after your payment has cleared our account.

Q: When will I get a tracking number?

You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your package has been picked up by the carrier.

Q: What does “in stock” mean vs “presale” or “on delay” items?

In stock, the item is available in our warehouse and ready to ship. Pre-Sale, the item is not yet in our warehouse, but is expected to arrive. A release date will be listed on the listing. On delay indicates an item is temporarily delayed, but is still set to arrive. An ETA will be listed on the listing.

Q: When is the metal price actually locked in?

Your metal price is locked in the moment you confirm and place your order.

Q: Why did the price change while I was checking out?

Prices can fluctuate since it is a live market. When you first land on a product page, you see the price at that exact moment. If you browse, and the market moves, the price may update by the time you reach checkout. We also offer a cash discount on cash-type payments. If your order payment is updated to a non-cash type payment, pricing will change.

Q: Does adding an item to cart lock the price?

Adding an item to your cart doesn't lock in the price. Prices will continue to fluctuate with the live market until you confirm and place your order.

Q: What payment methods does SD Bullion accept and which is fastest?

Bankwire and credit/debit cards would be the best payment methods to have your order processed faster.

Q: What’s the difference between ACH, eCheck, and bank wire?

ACH is a payment SD Bullion doesn't accept. E-Check payments are made by linking your checking account to your SD Bullion profile. Your bank account and routing number are used. Bank wire is a payment you make by going to your bank (some banks let you do this online). This is a direct payment sent from your bank to ours.

Q: Why did my eCheck/ACH payment fail and what should I do next?

Common reasons for failure for an E-Check can vary. I would go over the following and correct. Saving account is being used (savings account isn't accepted), Insufficient funds, and/or incorrect account/routing number.

Q: Does SD Bullion require a signature on delivery?

All orders will not always be shipped with a required signature, but all orders do ship fully insured. You do have the option to call us directly to add a 'guaranteed' signature upon delivery.
