The first coin in this series released in 2016, bearing the image of the Heraldic Lion of England; the Queen’s beast series seeks to capture the designs of each of the beast statues that stood guard during Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation.


Containing ¼ troy ounces of 0.9999 pure gold, this 2017 Queen’s Beast Griffin Coin is the smallest variant struck by the Royal Mint.
