These 2017 Silver and Gold Panda Proof Coins have limited mintages of 200,000 and 50,000 respectively. With three different gold and silver coins marking the occasion, the Chinese Mint wants to celebrate the year 2017 as a special year.


While the Silver Panda Proof contains 15 grams of 0.999 pure silver, the Gold Panda Proof Coin is struck using 5 grams of 0.999 pure gold. The Gold Panda carries a face value of 80 Yuan and the Silver Panda has a legal tender value of 5 Yuan.


The Gold Panda Proof Coin bears a unique panda design on its reverse. All the past 35 years have been imprinted throughout this side.
