Continuing with the renowned Lunar Series II program at the Perth Mint – this year, they have launched the Silver Rooster coin, commemorating 2017, the Year of the Rooster according to the Chinese Zodiac. It is the 10th coin in this prestigious series of 12 coins (one for each animal in the Chinese Zodiac).


Each five ounce Rooster Silver Coin contains 5 troy ounces of pure 0.9999 Ag (Silver) and is in fine BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition. Moreover, it is an essential purchase for numismatics who maintain Lunar Series coin collections due to its availability being limited to one year.


The obverse of this coin features the image of Queen Elizabeth II, as it is recognized as legal tender by the Government of Australia.
