2018 1/4 Ounce Gold American Eagle Coin PCGS MS-69 First Strike For Sale

The near-perfect MS-69 specimens from this year’s American Gold Eagle releases are now available on SD Bullion. These 2018 ¼ oz PCGS MS-69 American Gold Eagles bear this coveted grade only after being thoroughly inspected by PCGS.

PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) is one of the most renowned third-party coin grading agencies in the world. It was founded by seven precious metals dealers in 1985 with the aim of standardizing grading.

Although MS-70 is the highest grade that can be assigned to a coin, an MS-69 grade is considered almost on-par with it. Since the difference between these conditions is not discernable when inspected with naked eye, many collectors and investors prefer MS-69 bullion coin specimens due to their affordability.

Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ rendition of Lady Liberty walking forwards with the rising sun framing her from behind is one of the most memorable depictions of this iconic American symbol. This image is imprinted on the obverses of these American Gold Eagles, like all preceding releases under this coin series.

Each of these coins contains ¼ troy ounces of 0.9167 pure (22-karat) gold. Moreover, like all other American Gold Eagles issued by the US Mint, they are considered legal tender in the USA with a face value of $10 (USD).

If you value getting the bang-for-your-buck over all else, these 2018 ¼ oz PCGS MS-69 American Gold Eagles are perfect candidates to complete your collections and diversify your precious metals portfolio with graded coins from a popular coin series.
