All 2018 2 oz Chariot of Fire Biblical Silver Coins are ship with a Bible-themed gift box that includes the passage of 2 Kings wherein the tale of Elijahs ascension in front of Elisha is detailed. The coins all have an individual Certificate of Authenticity and laser-etched serial numbers on the edge of the coins.

Elijah is a unique figure in the Hebrew and Christian Bibles. Some early scholars thought that Jesus, in the Christian Bible, was in fact Elijah. For the Hebrews, he was more of a prophet. The specific story depicted on these coins recounts the moment Elijah is taken to heaven in a flaming chariot drawn by flaming horses in front of his follower and disciple Elisha.

On the reverse of the 2018 2 oz Chariot of Fire Biblical Silver Coin is the image of Elijahs ascended into heaven on the back of a chariot of fire drawn by horses which you can just barely see as they move behind the clouds. Left behind on the ground, having witnessed the ascension, is his disciple Elisha who would carry on his teachings.

The obverse of the 2 oz Chariot of Fire Biblical Silver Coin features the right-profile bust of Queen Elizabeth II. This particular coin series uses the Raphael Maklouf, third-generation design of the Queen as she wears the royal diadem upon her head.
