2018 Block Island 5 oz Silver Coin - America The Beautiful

Rhode Island gets the honor of being featured on this particular release under the America the Beautiful Coin program. These 2018 5 oz Block Island ATB Silver Coins are part of the five ATB coins to be released in 2018.

America the Beautiful is one of the several coin programs run by the United States Mint. It focuses on the natural and cultural beauty of National Parks, Wildlife Reserves, and National Lakeshores throughout the United States - with the US Mint choosing to honor five states or territories every year.

Each of these coins contains 5 troy ounces of 0.999 pure silver. Moreover, they are considered legal tender in the United States, bearing $0.25 (Quarter Dollar) face values.

The familiar image of George Washington graces the obverses of these coins, like all other circulating quarter dollar coins in the USA.

On the other hand, the reverses feature the beautiful depiction of Block Island Wildlife Refuge - located off the coast of Rhode Island. This is a critical migratory hub for birds on the Atlantic coast as the fruit shrubs on its shore are excellent sources of food for them.

Grab these 2018 5 oz Block Island ATB Silver Coins for your coin collections and complete your ATB sets today! Not only do they display the United States' natural beauty, but they also add substantial pure silver content for your precious metals portfolio.
