Not only is the Cayman Islands famous for being the only country in the world to have more registered corporations than human inhabitants, it is also situated in the beautiful Caribbean where majestic fishes like the Marlin are a regular feature. This silver coin series from the Scottsdale Mint aims to captures the natural marine beauty surrounding this island nation.

Each of these coins bears a face value of $1 (KYD or Caymanian Dollar) and are struck using 1 troy ounce of 0.999 pure silver.

A spectacular rendition of a Blue Marlin draws your attention to the coins' reverses -- portraying the fish jumping out of the water. The careful detail and thought put into this design is evident as the spray from the water trails behind the Marlin and the surface of the sea looks agitated due to the sudden movement of this majestic fish.

On the other hand, the obverses bear Ian Rank-Broadley's portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II, like all other legal tender coinage in the Cayman Islands.
