Above the kangaroos are inscribed the words “AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO”. Micro-laser engraved within these words are letters, which acts as a high level authentication feature of this coin. These micro-engraved letters are only visible under magnification. Below the Kangaroos are inscribed the text “2020 ¼ oz 9999 GOLD” and next to them you can see the “P” mint mark of the Perth Mint.
