This high-relief, antiqued silver two-ounce coin depicts the Bible story found in John 11:41-43. Jesus arrived at Lazarus’s grave, where a crowd of people gathered to mourn their beloved friend’s loss. Jesus then pleads with the Lord to allow a miracle to happen so that the onlookers can know Him. Jesus calls out to Lazarus, and he raises from the dead. 

 

The reverse side of this coin features Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, showing Lazarus walking out of his grave and the onlookers being shocked as to what was occurring. The words “RESURRECTION OF LAZARUS” are inscribed on the edge of this side. 

 

The obverse side features the consistent design of Queen Elizabeth II with the words “NIUE TWO DOLLARS,” “2020,” “2 OZ 999 FINE SILVER,” and “ QUEEN ELIZABETH II.”

 

This coin ships in a gift box that resembles an antique Bible. The coin also comes with a COA card, including specific details about the coin’s production, as well as the verses of John 11:41-43 to accompany the coin. The coin is a stellar two troy ounce piece with .999 purity, holding a denomination of $2. The coin also features a unique serial number on the edge of the coin, making its mintage one of the limited 1,499 coins produced.
