The year of issue, weight, and purity are all found in the top left and lastly, Perth Mint’s classic mintmark is found in the bottom left of the coin. 

Artist Jody Clark created the Queen Elizabeth II side profile for the 2022 1 oz Gold Kangaroo. Along the border of the coin’s obverse, the words "ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA" and the numerical face value of "100 DOLLARS" are inscribed. The letters "JC," which are the designer's initials, may also be seen on Her Majesty's portrait.
