The Silver Geiger Bear is a unique silver coin, with a limited mintage of only 30,000 coins. It is the fourth release from the “World’s Wildlife” bullion series endorsed by the Congolese government. 

The 1 oz Silver Geiger Bear Coin is struck using one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver, and has a face value of 20 francs. This silver coin is produced by the illustrious Germany-based Geiger Mint. All coins ship individually capsulated and arrive to us in wrapped rolls of 20 coins. Don’t wait too long to purchase these extremely limited silver coins.

Design

A majestic brown bear, with an open jaw and sharp, pointy teeth is visible on the coin’s obverse, or front side. The 1 ounce Silver Geiger Bear displays the animal in the wild, in a fierce pose among the native vegetation. The coin front also features the words “THE BEAR”, and “WORLD’S WILDLIFE” arching on the upper and lower side, respectively. You can also see a small outline map of Asia dividing the coin’s lower inscription.

The silver coin's reverse showcases the Democratic Republic of Congo’s coat of arms. The inscriptions read “REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO”, “1 OZ AG 999.9”, “20 FRANCS”, and the year of mintage “2022”. A dotted line can also be seen circling close to the coin’s rim.
