The Design

The obverse maintains PAMP Suisse’s standard information: the company’s logo, weight, metal content, and purity, through the words: “5g,” “FINE GOLD,” and “999.9.” Beneath these inscriptions, there is also the assayer’s mark and a unique serial number. The detail of this edition is the sequential engraving of lotus flowers surrounding the outer edge on the obverse.

The reverse depicts Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of elephants, a symbol of beauty, wealth, and prosperity, sitting on a giant lotus flower. Above Her, the words: “Diwali” written in an Indian style and “Festival of Lights” complete the image.

The proof-like finish applied to the surface brings luster to the bar’s background, making the design details more perceptive.

The Packaging

Each bar contains an assay card with the same information imprinted on the bar’s obverse, including the unique serial number. It is individually packaged and sealed within a decorative assay card with the series motif.
