Both stunning birds are set against the Refuge’s tidal salt marsh, along with the inscriptions: Bombay Hook, Delaware, 2015, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
The beautiful coin commemorating the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge was designed by AIP artist Joel Iskowitz, and was sculpted by U.S. Mint Sculptor-Engraver Phebe Hemphill.
