The PCGS graded 1997-issue of one of the most popular coin programs in the world is now available at SD Bullion. Of the 4.7 million American Silver Eagle Coins struck in 1997, only 1,310 proof variants earned the perfect PR-70 grade certification from the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). Sealed inside a protective encapsulation with a PCGS certification label, these coins are guaranteed to retain their flawless condition.


Each of these coins is struck at the Philadelphia Mint of the US Mint, as attested by the ‘P’ mint mark on their reverses. Moreover, every coin contains 1 troy ounce of .999 pure silver, and carries a $1 face value.


PCGS was established in 1985, and is now one of the foremost authorities on coins. Moreover, its experts follow the Sheldon Scale for assigning a grade to coins, which is a universally accepted standard in the precious metals market.
