Buy Pre-1921 Morgan Silver Dollars (BU) Online

Own a piece of Americana with these Brilliant Uncirculated Pre-1921 US Morgan Silver Dollars! While their silver content excites investors, their historical value attracts collectors. Not only will these Morgan Silver Dollars add to your silver stack, but they also add potentially increasing numismatic value to your portfolio as one of the most popular and most sought after dollar coins on the market.

The Morgan Silver Dollar minting started in 1878 and was minted until 1904 when the US Mint ceased production of dollar coins due to depleting silver reserves. There were two separate minting eras of the Morgan's, the first from 1878-1904 and another in 1921. These specific silver dollars are strictly minted in that first run (1878-1904) and are considered to be in BU condition (Brilliant Uncirculated). Each of these coins contains 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver and carry a standard $1 face value.

The obverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar features George T. Morgan’s rendition of Lady Liberty is one of the most famous images on American coinage. Her left-profile is intricately depicted, adorning a headdress with the word ‘LIBERTY’ inscribed on it. The US motto at the time. “E PLURIBUS UNUM” is minted above Lady Liberty with the year that the coin is minted below her.

The reverse features a majestic eagle – clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Its face value ‘ONE DOLLAR’ is imprinted below this image, while the name of the issuing country ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’ encircles the Eagle.

The Pre-1921 Morgan Silver Dollars present the chance to obtain historic coins in a high-quality state.
