Each of these coins contains 1 troy ounce of 0.999 pure silver. Moreover, their ‘Early Releases’ NGC certification guarantees that these coins were struck within the first 30 days of release – confirming them to be among the very first coins to be issued under this program.


PR-70 is the highest possible grade that can be assigned to a coin – essentially indicating a flawless coin specimen with beautifully contrasting designs. While the PR-70 grade is assigned to indicate the condition of the coin being inspected, the Ultra Cameo designation is reserved for coins that display a brilliant contrast between the frosted designs and polished silver surface.


The obverses of these 2017-P Silver Medal Proofs showcase a unique interpretation of Lady Liberty – depicted, for the very first time, as an African-American woman. It signifies the 225 years of progress that this great nation has made towards equality for all.


A brand-new rendition of an Eagle in mid-flight is imprinted on the reverses of these Silver Medal Proofs. This side also displays the ‘P’ mint mark from the Philadelphia Mint.
