SD Bullion is proud to present the Apollo 11th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Program. On July 20, 1969 the efforts of the United States was celebrated as they had successfully landed a man on the moon. 

The standard silver dollar from now on will have a 99.9% purity. This has been changed from the previous 90% commemorative silver dollars. 

Obverse: This design features the inscriptions “MERCURY,” “GEMINI,” and “APOLLO.” The lunar surface shows a footprint on the moon representing the hard work of the United States space program. 

Additional inscriptions include “2019,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “LIBERTY.”

Reverse: The famous figure of Buzz Aldrin on the moon can be found on the reverse side. The reflection also depicts Neil Armstrong.  

Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
