Design:

The 2022 Roaring Lion Silver Coin is the first of many to be released in the Truth Series this year. The Roaring Lion and the Tree of Life are two coins in the series. Each coin is manufactured in all three precious metals once a year and released at various times throughout the year.

Each coin features a hidden truth. The first half of the truth is displayed on the Roaring Lion and the second half of the truth is found on the Tree of Life coin. This year’s truth comes from Psalm 119:160. On the band of the Lion’s crown, the micro-engraved inscription reads “All your words are true.” The Lion of Judah symbol is found above. This side also depicts the Lion in great detail. At the bottom of the obverse are the coin's specifications, which include "ONE TROY OUNCE" and the high purity of ".9999 FINE SILVER."

The obverse face of the coin displays the face value, year of issue, and Queen Elizabeth's effigy. Each coin contains one troy ounce of.9999 pure silver and is struck at Sunshine Mint. Each coin is backed by the New Zealand government and has a face value of two dollars.
