Buy 10 Dollar Face 90% Silver Barber Half Dollars Circulated Online

Minted from 1892-1915, these half dollars are well known among investors as an important piece in the minting history of America. Also known as the Liberty Head half dollar, these circulated coins were designed by Charles E. Barber, and would be a great addition of junk silver to any collection.

These coins were minted with 90% silver content and have a face value of 50 cents. The Barber Half Dollars were minted by the U.S. Mint for only 24 years. The condition of these coins is said to be “Circulated”, which is to be expected of coins that are a century old.

On the obverse, a Phrygian cap can be seen atop the head of of lady liberty with the word “Liberty” that appears on the band of the cap. “In God We Trust” is a motto placed with 13 stars surrounding it and the year of the coin.

The reverse design depicts the early rendition of the United States Seal with an outstretched eagle that has an olive branch and arrows in its grasp. The eagle also has a shield and a banner stating “E Pluribus Unum”. The entirety of the eagle is surrounded by the inscription: “United States of America” and “Half Dollar”.
