Design

The design on the 2022 1/10 oz Australian Kookaburra Gold Coin is similar to that on the Silver Kookaburra coin. The reverse features a kookaburra perched on a birdbath with plants surrounding it. The bird is displayed in gorgeous detail. Above the image is the title of the coin, the year of issue, the weight, and purity. Lastly, the Perth Mint signature “P” mintmark is found near the bottom.

The obverse features the classic effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Surrounding her are the words “Elizabeth II,” “Australia,” and the face value, “15 Dollars.”
